Property Description

The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery. In the early hours of summer mornings, it will not be difficult to see roe deer, alone or in pairs, crossing the grassy areas. In the evenings, you will also discover that fireflies still exist, and that the garden seems to light up. Last year a pair of birds (kestrels) made their nest in the old barn, the little ones still whirl, undisturbed in these parts. At night, even in the winter, you will hear the sounds of many other small wild animals. The farmhouse originates from the seventeenth-century, but was recently restored by dividing the structure into a main apartment on two levels, a completely independent service apartment, and an area (former stable) used as a contemporary art gallery. In the latter perspective, ancient and contemporary (tiles, reinforced concrete, parquet, travertine, stone and iron beams) merge and combine with each other, creating a place that will make you feel "at home". Formerly the seat of an artist's residence, where guests of the current owners, artists, writers and musicians from all over the world have alternated for years, you will breath culture and beauty that permeate the stone. Location

Located on a flat plateau surrounded by mountains, just a short walk from the town of Gualdo Tadino. The major historic centers of Umbria are easily reachable, and about half an hour from Perugia Sant'Egidio airport.
