Location

The village is included in the circuit of the 'borghi silenti', a wonderful 5-day stage walk; there are many trekking and horse riding routes available. It is about 20 minutes from Orvieto and 1 hour 15 from the centre of Rome. The proximity to Alviano railway station (5 km) makes the train journey to Rome particularly convenient (less than 1 hour). The prevailing exposure is west, with wonderful views over the rolling hills to Montefiascone and the Cimini mountains.
