Property Description“Il Pornello” dates back to 12th century. Thanks to its historicity, it still maintains a unique charm. Near the border with Tuscany and Lazio, this hamlet is located in Umbria at about 427 MAMSL. The Scarzuola monastery and the Monte Peglia natural park can be reached in a few minutes. Monteleone D’Orvieto, Città Della Pieve, Orvieto, the Bolsena Lake, Bomarzo, Volterra, Perugia, Spoleto, Assisi are just a half-hour distant. Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and Siena are an hour and a half from here. The Tyrrhenian coast and the area of Grosseto (Parco Dell’Uccellina and Monte Argentario) can be reached in two hours and a half. The most useful motorway connections are the A1 motorway exit of Fabro and the E45 exit of Marsciano. The closest train stations are in Fabro and Chiusi, the Rome-Florence direct railway junction. The nearest airport is the one of Perugia.
